About The Author – Tessa McFionn

Tessa McFionn is a very native Californian and has called Southern California home for most of her life, growing up in San Diego and attending college in Northern California and Orange County, only to return to San Diego to work as a teacher.

Insatiably curious and imaginative, she loves to learn and discover, making her wicked knowledge of trivial facts an unwelcomed guest at many Trivial Pursuit boards.

What Are People Saying About My Books

I loved this. I was pulled in by the writing from the very beginning. The world building was well done and I enjoyed the characters. We have Voni and Kai, an insecure dancer and a warrior who was born in the 1300’s. When Kai finds Voni she is standing on a bridge about to jump. He talks her down and recognizes her as his spiritmate. She is in danger but he can’t tell her right away because she wouldn’t understand. I was intrigued from the beginning and couldn’t put it down. An excellent series start. There are enough loose ends to make me eager for another book.

This is a wonderful story with characters that take a hold of you and don’t let go. There wasn’t a single part of this book that I found lacking.

I know people always talk about not being able to put the book down, but I can seriously say that was the case here.

Tessa has brought us a wonderful story that I’m glad to say I will be reading many times for years to come.
